Have you ever taken a long trip and noticed that your ESR Dashboard data doesn't seem to have accurately captured your distance?

Fear not! Much of the time, this is due to a lack of Internet connectivity and can be fixed in a few simple steps on the ESR app. Because the ESR app depends on GPS signal (not cell signal), riders can ride without data. However, in order to upload your ride data to the server, you must connect to the Internet and manually upload it. Here's how:

How to Manually Upload a Ride

  1. Open ESR app
  2. From the Go Ride screen (map), tap on the helmet icon to go your Profile screen.
  3. Tap on Saved Rides
  4. Tap the ellipsis beside a ride with greyed-out text
  5. Tap "Sync your ride"
  6. The ride will be successfully uploaded and the colour of the ride changes to blue.

If you have an upload issue that has something to do with GPS (not Internet connectivity), take a look at our articles about How to Get a Better GPS Fix for Android and iOS.
