Apple has recently published an article regarding iPhones and the effect on their cameras when exposed to high amplitude vibrations for extended periods of time, specifically those generated by high-power motorcycle engines. This can cause a degradation in the performance of the camera system. When exposed for too long, camera quality may degrade, reducing the quality of photos and videos.

When possible, Apple recommends having your phone in your jacket pocket instead of mounted on handlebars on both high-powered motorcycles, and vehicles with lower amplitudes such as mopeds or scooters.

You can get some more details about this from Apple's release here.
